Not So Good Ol' Boys - Casting the Dukes of Hazzard

This is, in my better day of English, what I call a world of suck. This casting blows.

Seann William Scott who is somehow still riding the doofus wave from American Pie and Johnny Knoxville...well, I reserve judgment on Knoxville as I have only seen his Jackass material and not his acting in something like A Dirty Shame.

But throw Jessica Simpson into the mix as Daisy Duke and sigh, you have less a film cast and more a collection of unproven talent. Simpson may have the body for Daisy but she sure doesn't have any proven acting talent as her SNL appearances, her godawful Newlyweds show and that car crash TV variety show have indicated.

So another potential franchise ends up in the bog.
